Overview

How it works:
The switch is used in conjunction with a guest room access card. When the guest enters the room and inserts the card into the power holder, it activates a predefined group of electrical circuits (e.g., lighting and air conditioning) in hotel rooms, meeting rooms, or offices. Upon removing the card when leaving the room, the system automatically disconnects the power to those circuits—typically after a 40-second delay—turning off lights and air conditioning to conserve energy.
